Catholic CharitiesAxel is a resilient young man originally from Honduras. Although adapting to a new country and being separated from his family has been tough on Axel, he has persevered. He is currently in high school and likes playing soccer, helping his foster parents cook, and exploring the world of boxing!
Axel truly finds boxing to be both his passion and his preferred coping skill. He has been training very hard with his beloved coach and is ready to start competing soon! He will need some special equipment to stay safe as he spars with other boxers. With this new equipment, he will feel like a pro!
