Despite it all, Dakota has a quick and humor that defies what most of us might let under the same circumstances bring us down. Dakota is inspiring to those who know him. He proves we are not defined by what might be considered a limitation.
Dakota has trouble sleeping at night. A weighted blanket would aid Dakota in getting the rest he needs to overcome the daily difficulties he faces. He regularly makes the journey to the Children's Hospital for checkups and evaluations. When travelling to doctor appointments it would be soothing during the long drives.
