La’Kai is a sweet and charming boy who has been through trauma as well. La’Kai does miss his mother, but his aunt does her best to do what she can in the absence of his parents. One thing is certain he loves his sisters. He hates when they leave him alone and goes to school without him. La’Kai was placed with his aunt when he was six months old. As a baby, he would barely make any noise at all. His aunt was able to get him help with language development and now he talks, laughs, and makes as much noise as he can.

Lakai loves spending time outside. Recently, he's been trying to ride his neighbor's bike in hopes of learning how to ride one himself. He's never had a bike before, but he's super excited to give it a try. Lakai has a thing for Paw Patrol, and he's been dreaming of having a bike with training wheels and a Paw Patrol design. It would make his day if he could have his very own bike to ride this summer.
