A desk chair for Eve to have a comfortable space to complete her schoolwork
Eve, 18 years old
Wish submitted by:
Salvation Army Children's Services: Foster Care & AdoptionEve is so incredibly courageous and resilient. Eve entered foster care and eventually moved from her foster home to an apartment in her local Independent Living Program after her foster family, whom she had been with for most of her placement, moved out of state. Before entering care, Eve showed bravery in taking the steps to remove herself and her 12 siblings from an unhealthy and unsafe situation. Her courage continues to be evident as she learns to navigate the world independently. Despite the trauma she experienced, she has shown so much maturity and growth and aspires to go to college and pursue a career in ASL/interpreting.
Eve is currently in an Independent Living Program and has her own place. However, her place is not yet fully furnished. Eve is hoping to create a cozy and comfortable space where she can concentrate on schoolwork, connect with her friends and siblings virtually, and practice playing her guitar. She's been eyeing this adorable pink desk chair that would be perfect for her needs. Let's help Eve create her ideal study nook!
