Taekwondo for Robert to master his skill and cope with life's challenges
Robert, 18 years old
Wish submitted by:
Home of the InnocentsRobert is such a bright and loving young man who is very respectful to adults and cares for everyone. Robert recently lost his mother and is going through many overwhelming changes while grieving. Robert now lives with his grandmother and is an only child whose only friend recently moved hours away. Robert aspires to work in technology and build his own business. Robert loves to practice Taekwondo. He used to participate in classes, excelled quickly, and had a great relationship with the Master.
Robert is having a hard time. He lost his mother, his best friend moved away, he had to change schools, and he is struggling socially, financially, and mentally, all of which are contributing to his mental health and a lack of effort in school. Robert's grandmother raves about how Robert used to be so social, loving, and upbeat, and now she is concerned about the way he is changing. Robert was unable to identify any other desire to assist with coping with his overwhelming circumstances other than being able to participate in Taekwondo classes. With this opportunity, Robert can find peace, discipline, and happiness, build positive peer relationships, and have an additional strong, supportive adult relationship.
Home of the Innocents requests this wish for Robert.
