Maovesa is strong-willed and determined. She is in a group home in foster care. She is working through her trauma and likes to be active. She has six siblings that she helps take care of and is learning to just be a teenager and not a mom figure. Maovesa wants to be independent and likes to do things on her own but she misses her siblings.

Maovesa has done so well in her placement and in school. She has foster siblings who ride their bikes now that the weather is getting better. Maovesa asked for a bike, which would help her fit in and go to the park and other places with the family. She picked a bike that she liked and would be very excited and happy if she got it. She loves to have fun outdoors, and this bike will keep her busy and active. She will be thrilled to get her own bike!
