Emil tested positive at birth for cocaine and heroin. Despite this challenging start, he is gaining weight and smiling more. Emil's pediatrician is concerned that he does not presently sleep for extended hours each night. His foster mother tries hard to alleviate his pain and discomfort due to the medical challenges he continues to face. Emil seems to recognize the sound of his mother's voice when she calls.

Emil's mother plans to visit Emil soon. His foster mother would like to take a photo of them to commemorate the event. Having Emil dressed in a well fitting and adorable outfit will make for a memorable keepsake photo.
