Machalea is a resilient single mother of three children who finds joy in spending quality time outdoors with them. Whether it’s going for walks or embarking on road trips, she cherishes these moments together. Alongside her love for nature, singing is another passion that brings her happiness. Her favorite color, blue, reflects her calm and optimistic spirit, even in the face of challenges such as experiencing homelessness. Despite these difficulties, Machalea remains determined to maintain a positive outlook on life. She works part-time as a home health aide, a role that she finds deeply fulfilling due to her passion for caring for the elderly. Through her dedication and love for her children, she continues to strive for a brighter future.

Machalea is presently without a permanent home, having lost her previous one recently. As a result, she has been moving from place to place until she can find a stable residence. She requires a new luggage to make it easier to transport her children's belongings, as she presently uses an old, battered duffle bag that isn't big enough to hold all of their belongings. Once she is back on her feet and can travel, this luggage will double as a travel bag. This would mean a lot to her and her children, as it would be far more convenient to transport their belongings.
