Jamir is an energetic and playful little boy. He is in his foster home with one of his brothers, another foster child, and the foster parents' biological son. Their home is full of life, and they always keep the children in their routine. Jamir and his brother have been in many foster homes and have really struggled to settle in and feel safe. Jamir is a burn victim and has overcome so much in his life at such a young age. Jamir is very attached to his foster parents and has reached many milestones while in their care. His foster parents are working with Jamir to help him have quiet times where he can relax and feel safe. Jamir responds very well to music, and he loves all things Disney.

Jamir's birthday has recently passed, but his foster family still wants to make him feel special. They would like to get him a water table so that he can have fun with his brother on hot days. Jamir is a burn victim from boiling water and has overcome many of his fears related to water. Exposing him to water in a fun and safe way supports his development and confidence. Although he will have access to a water table when he starts preschool in the fall, his foster family wishes to prepare him with activities over the summer. Jamir is also working on developing his fine motor skills, and using water buckets and levers can be very helpful in supporting his development.
