Joseph is a bright young man with a lot of potential to make his life amazing. As a former teen in the foster care system, he has a hard time processing emotions like anger, frustration, sadness, and depression. Sometimes this means he punches holes in his walls, which costs money and puts his housing at risk. If granted his wish, his frustration would be one less barrier to improving himself and engaging with the world in a healthy way. Joseph has also been wanting to join a gym for years, but money has been a barrier. A punching bag would give him a way to keep in shape and get stronger. Regular workout sessions with a bag would help regulate his system so he can focus on his other goals: a job, college, and becoming more independent.
