Courtney is a sweet and kind young lady with a tough upbringing. Despite it all, she still carries herself with an infectious sense of joy. She doesn't let tough times get to her, and after years of making mistakes she now regrets, she has turned her life in the right direction. Part of that effort is now motivated by becoming a mother. Despite the new responsibility, she refuses to stop the momentum she is building chasing her career goals.

Courtney was accepted into an independent living program and will now have her own apartment for the first time in her life. She is so excited to have a space to raise her child in. Her son is currently entering toddler stages, and one thing Courtney noticed is that the floors in some parts of the apartment aren't great, so she feels that as her son begins to learn to crawl, having a rug he can do it on would be a smart idea and better for his safety.
