CASA NJ - Essex CountyJakari has been in foster care for the majority of his life. He was abandoned by his parents and has struggled with that knowledge from the age of 5. Although he has been through many ups and downs while hopping from resource home to resource home, he is a bright young man who wants a solid future for himself. This now will include his new son. He and his girlfriend welcomed their baby 6 months ago, and although are doing a great job at parenting him at such a young age, they are struggling with affording the necessary items that will help their child with his development.
Jakari and his girlfriend welcomed their baby 6 months ago. So close to graduation from high school, Jakari and his girlfriend are finding it difficult to focus on their studies and parenting at the same time. The jumper they are requesting will help their baby stay entertained and safe in the room while Jakari gets his homework done.
