All of Nathan’s hopes and dreams for the future are starting to come true! After a long road and a lot of ups and downs in the foster care system, he has emerged as a responsible, reliable, mature guy who has moved into his own apartment. Nathan's team affectionately calls him the "Mayor of Philadelphia." Everywhere new he goes, he somehow seems to know half the people there and the other half quickly become his friends. Nathan will be finishing high school this year and is looking for an apprenticeship with a trade union because he enjoys working with his hands and hopes to gain more skills. He likes basketball, spending time with friends, sneakers and any flavor of Oreos (the stranger, the better)

Nathan has recently moved into his new apartment, which is well-furnished for his basic needs. However, he would love to have a television to relax and unwind a little at the end of the day, either alone or with friends. He has a birthday coming up and hopes someone will gift him with a TV. He’s particularly a fan of Philadelphia sports, which he has fond memories of watching with his grandfather—go, Birds!
