Jerome has been a dedicated member of the Michigan Youth Opportunities Initiative (MYOI). His journey in foster care has been both challenging and inspiring. He has spent most of his childhood in the foster care system, and despite all the trauma and obstacles he has encountered, he has not only persevered but has also thrived.

Jerome, a senior in college, recently experienced the unfortunate event of his car being stolen. Due to financial constraints, he was unable to afford full coverage insurance, and as a result, the car was declared totaled. In light of this situation, Jerome wishes for a bicycle so he is able to commute to college, ensuring he can arrive at his classes on time.
