Israel is a hard working student who has been unaccompanied since high school. He has been a huge support for his grandma, who is also raising his two younger brothers with special needs. He is currently finished his AA at Chaffey Community College and started at a four year, last fall to complete his Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. He is a dedicated soccer player and was hired last year to coach his high school's junior varsity team. He is always willing to help "coach" others and rarely thinks of himself. He is moving into his junior year of college and is an avid soccer player and kinesiology major. He has dreams of becoming a professional coach or a personal trainer.

While many of his classmates his age are focusing on themselves, Israel spends most of his free time watching his younger brothers and cousins. Israel longs for an Xbox, but he knows it isn’t something he can afford right now. The Xbox represents more than just a game for Israel and his younger family members. It's a means for them to bond and find joy in the midst of their challenging circumstances.
