Selena has been in care since she was 12 years old. She has had many bumps in the road, but she is working hard to create positive coping skills to better face her traumatic experiences, as well as building a better support system by participating in our organizations events. She recently reunified with her baby girl, left a lot of bad habits behind and recently moved into a new home. We are really excited to see her thrive in this next phase of her life.

Selena has gone from couch hopping to recently moving into her own home with her daughter, whom she recently reunited with and is now back in her care. She is really happy to have made the necessary changes needed to be the best mom she can be. However, her living room has no light of its own and needs a light that can be plugged in. She has had to invest a lot of money into her move and can't afford a light right now. Granting this wish would be super helpful.
