J’La is a very sweet young lady. She recently went into guardianship, but then the guardianship dissolved, so she is back in foster care with her older sister. J’La never lets her life circumstances get in the way of her mood. She enjoys being active and going to the pool over the summer. She is always looking for opportunities to go out into the community. J’La is working at Amigos, which was her first job, and she said she enjoys working.

J’La recently moved in with her sister after living with her aunt, and now she's in the process of making her partially finished basement room feel more like her own. She's looking to add some personality to the space and is asking for string lights because the basement only has one light switch that controls all the lights. It would be great for J’La to have her own lights without having to turn on all the basement lights.
