Bella has been in foster care and has been living with her legal guardian, who is a family friend but is now considered more of a father figure since she was a young child. She was left in his care, and her parents never returned. With high school graduation behind her, Bella is starting her college journey this summer. Bella has overcome many obstacles to get where she is, and she feels that opportunities are waiting for her. She enjoys math and collaborating with classmates, and she looks forward to surpassing the expectations set for her so she can make a difference for others who have also faced hardships while growing up.

Bella is so excited about starting her first year in college. She's already enrolled in a pre-calculus class this summer and enjoying the new learning environment. Once the semester begins, she'll be moving onto campus and their dorm rooms. Even if it is a little scary, Bella can't wait! However, a family member will be using her old bed back at home, so receiving a new bed frame will help support Bella as she makes a new home away from home.
