Shelby is currently preparing for an exciting cruise with her paternal family, courtesy of her aunts. This trip represents not only a rare opportunity for her to bond with her family and experience new cultures but also serves as a significant step toward her journey to independent living. As Shelby is set to age out of the foster care system, this cruise will provide her with valuable life experiences and a well-deserved break from her challenging circumstances. This wish has been divided up so that Shelby can get everything she needs. This is wish 1 of 2.
Shelby is 17 years old and lives in NC
Shelby is in the 11th grader and has a keen interest in art and travel. She has goals to help children through advocacy, inspired by her own experiences. She plans to attend the local university here when she graduates in a couple of years. Her hobbies include makeup, and she loves to snuggle up with a good book. Shelby also enjoys studying history, as it allows her to explore different cultures and stories from the past.
