NJ DCFS - Cumberland CountyRicardo is an amazing young man. He unfortunately experienced a failed adoption. Ricardo has had suicidal ideation in the past, and his family thought it was best for him to be placed out of the home. In spite of this, Ricardo has a very optimistic outlook on life and his future. He is currently placed in a shelter and was able to graduate high school with honors. He is very independent and wants to succeed in life.
Ricardo has been in the foster care system since March 2023. He is currently learning to be independent and has hopes of joining the military. Ricardo is currently living at a shelter and away from his family. Although Ricardo cannot return to his family, he still holds a close bond with them. Ricardo is not always able to visit with his family and would like to video chat with them from time to time. He would be so happy to get an iPhone so he can FaceTime with his family. He would be thrilled to keep this connection strong with this amazing quality phone!
