Brie is a member of CASA-NYC's Youth Leadership Council. She spends her time advocating for youth who are still in foster care. Brie has aged out of care, but is still involved in the foster community. She transitioned from foster care to live independently around the time she turned 21 years old and has remained in her own apartment for several years. Her home has been a safe haven for many of her friends that have become like family as they've navigated the foster care system too. Brie's passion is cooking! She wants to be a chef when she gets older. Her favorite thing to cook is backed mac and cheese. She is working part-time as a pastry chef in Queens making delicious deserts and pastries.

Brie loves cooking. It brings her such peace and happiness. She enjoys catering meals for clients and has watched her passion blossom into a career. She would really like to start collecting the items needed to ensure she is keeping her meals as fresh as possible. A Chafing Dish is exactly what Brie needs to keep pieces of her work warm prior to plating her masterpiece for her clients to enjoy.
