Leydy arrived in the United States from Guatemala 2.5 years ago without her parents. She has worked hard since then to learn English, make friends, and get her education. Leydy plays trumpet in the school band and enjoys playing soccer during her free time. She loves her family, has a great sense of humor, and enjoys celebrating holidays by eating the yummy food her foster mom makes. Leydy is so fun to be around and is on her way to be a very successful young adult.

Leydy is a bright young woman who is going to begin attending a technical institute for dental assisting. She will be doing half days at the technical institute and half days at her traditional high school and needs a new backpack to be able to carry around all her things! A laptop backpack will help her to feel confident and comfortable while learning and preparing for her career!
