Matthew is a hard-working young man. At the age of 14, he left home and stayed with his best friend. At the age of 16, his mom lost her battle with drugs. Matthew dropped out of school and got a job to help his sister raise her newborn son and two siblings. Through everything that Matthew experienced, he kept the faith. Today, Matthew has a better job and hopes to one day get a driver's license and return to school to get his GED. He still helps his siblings when he can.

Matthew recently accompanied his nephew on a scouting trip to see if his nephew enjoyed scouting. To Matthew's delight, his nephew enjoyed scouting and convinced him to become a den leader. Matthew is excited about the opportunity to spend more time with his nephew and do outdoor activities that he loves. He would like a gift card to Camping World to purchase items such as hiking boots, a fishing pole, and some basic camping gear to get him started. This would be a great opportunity for a weekend outing, and unfortunately, it's all volunteer work. His nephew would greatly enjoy this opportunity to shop for these items with his upcoming Tiger Scout.
