Amir is a very sweet and helpful young boy. He has three sisters and a younger brother who are not living with him. Amir has been in several homes, but he has finally found one that will continue to support his emotional and social needs while his mother is incarcerated. He is very close to his siblings and loves to talk about his visits with them. Amir enjoys art, Pokemon, and playing video games with his friends. He is a resilient and adaptive boy who has experienced a lot of disruption and trauma. He loves to show people his Pokemon cards and pictures of his sisters. Amir is interested in participating in baseball and soccer in his new placement and is looking forward to hanging out with friends at his new foster home.

Amir has experienced 9 different living arrangements in the past 8 months since entering foster care. The constant moving has made it very difficult for Amir to feel secure enough to make friends. However, he is currently thriving in a kinship placement. For the first time in months, he has shown interest in participating in activities and has started making plans to have friends over for sleepovers. For his upcoming birthday, he has requested a Playstation console so that he can play games with friends at his home. Although his kinship placement has some funds saved up, they are unable to cover the full cost. Any support in getting Amir a Playstation for his birthday would mean the world to them.
