Foster Alumni MentorsKim aged out of foster care at the age of 17. It took her 12 years to get her bachelors degree, but she never once stopped working towards it! Now, she works every day to help others who aged out of foster care reach their goals. She has a big heart and loves to see others succeed. Her goal is to be a support to everyone who don't have any supports, to inspire hope, and show them they aren't alone.
Kim is very excited about the opportunity to go to Disney in Florida! She has been an incredible role model for the group that will be traveling to the independent living conference at the end of August. It would be an amazing experience for her to visit Disney with them. A Disney gift card would allow her to purchase some fun souvenirs to remember this epic experience for many years to come!
