Briana is a loving, kind, bright, resilient young lady. She is one of 7 siblings who was placed in foster care as a young child due to severe neglect. She was lucky to have been placed with a younger brother, while the others were split up. Briana spent several years bouncing around until she and her brother were adopted, however that ended poorly when she was 18. Since that time, she has been on her own. She has re-connected with her siblings and makes it a point to check on them daily, despite what is going on in her life. She has spent the last 6 years struggling with housing instability, lack of income, food insecurity as well as anxiety and depression. During this time, she has also enrolled in and completed a semester at college, held numerous jobs, and kept a positive hopeful outlook. She is currently staying with a family, has secured an entry level job in the medical field and is planning on going back to school.

After years of housing and work instability, Briana has finally found a place where she can feel at home and not worry about being kicked out. She is starting a new job and is focusing on saving money and paying down her debt so she can get her own apartment. She would like a desk so she can sit and make monthly budgets and plans for her future.
