At the age of 12, she was placed into the foster care system. Despite these difficulties, she is now in college studying to become a social worker. Her goal is to help families facing similar challenges achieve better outcomes. Through her resilience, she has overcome the struggles of her past and is determined to achieve greatness.
Malika is a college student who has been on her own at a young age. She has been giving back to her community since she was 14 as a way to express gratitude for the help she has received. She now faces financial hardship, making it difficult to cover basic needs like food. She would be grateful for a gift card to Publix so that she is able to make healthy food for herself.
