Akeem is very close with his younger brother and hopes to be a good role model for him. During his spare time, he likes to sing, hang out with his peers, work and listen to music. Akeem is a very strong and motivated adolescent who wants to make the world a better place.

Akeem is starting his second year of college after successfully completing his first. During the summer, he worked and helped his older sisters pay the rent so that they could care for their younger brother, who remains in the state's custody. He is an excellent role model for his brother, and despite being tasked with many more responsibilities than most college students, he is succeeding. He is so proud of what he's accomplishing and would love to have a sweatshirt to rep his school. He will wear this sweatshirt proudly!
