ReDiscoverAnita grew up in the foster care system and lived in many different foster homes as a young person. She faced numerous struggles with belonging. Now, she has children of her own and is working hard to put herself through school to become a nurse. Anita has a big heart and loves to help others.
Anita wants to celebrate her birthday at Milo Farm in Kansas City by staying overnight in one of their awesome spaces with two of her friends. She didn't have many birthday parties when she was young, so this would mean a lot to her. She hopes to have fun, enjoy a campfire with her friends, and make her special day memorable, but being a single mom makes it difficult.
