Electric scooter for Matthew who needs a way to get to work
Matthew, 21 years old

Kindred Spirit Behavioral HealthMatthew is a hard-working young man. At the age of 14, he left home and stayed with his best friend. At the age of 16, his mom lost her battle with drugs. Matthew dropped out of school and got a job to help his sister raise her newborn son and two siblings. Through everything that Matthew experienced, he kept the faith. Today, Matthew has a better job and hopes to one day get a driver's license and return to school to get his GED. He still helps his siblings when he can.
Matthew does not drive at the moment but aspires to obtain his driver's license and own a car in the future. He is currently employed and frequently depends on others for transportation to work. Recently, he has received several points for tardiness due to last-minute Uber calls. Matthew wishes to have a scooter that would enable him to commute independently, thereby eliminating his reliance on others and helping him avoid penalties for lateness.
