Lily is a truly beautiful and inquisitive little girl who has recently found her forever home after being adopted from foster care. After a challenging time in kinship care where her needs went unmet, she was placed in a loving licensed foster home. Since then, Lily has made incredible strides in expressing her feelings and learning to navigate the trauma she has faced. Even on days that feel heavy, she radiates warmth and positivity, reminding everyone of her bright spirit. Though Lily has been welcomed into her adoptive family, the shadows of her past still linger. She continues to face hurdles linked to the difficult experiences she endured before her journey to foster care. However, surrounded by the unwavering love and nurturing environment of her new family, she is receiving the support and understanding she needs to flourish. With every step forward, Lily's resilience shines through, and her story is one of hope and enduring love.

Lily is a remarkable young girl with a vibrant personality. She has been living in a foster home while waiting to see if her aunt could be approved to take care of her. Recently she received the news and is excited about the idea of moving to a new place, but she's also sad to leave the people she has come to call family. While she would love to be adopted by her current foster family, she understands that her out-of-state aunt has been working hard to ensure she gets to stay with her blood relatives and grow up with her cousins. Lily looks forward to showing her aunt her musical skills and maybe one day teaching her cousins how to play the guitar. She needs a luggage set that can hold all her belongings as she travels to be reunited with her relatives. Her tentative move day is over the fall break in October, and her foster parents will be making the long 1400-mile drive to reintroduce Lily to her relatives and say their goodbyes.
