Segundo has been in foster care since before he was a teenager and has had multiple placements. However, through each placement, he's used music, reading, and basketball to get through tough times. Segundo is not quick to give up and thrives at being an underdog.
Segundo is gearing up for an upcoming court hearing to discuss his foster care situation. It will be his first time appearing in person, and he has bravely chosen to attend to advocate for himself. Understandably, Segundo is feeling anxious about the approaching hearing and is eager to appear confidently. A new pair of shoes would certainly help him feel more self-assured as he faces the court.
