Karen is an adorable little girl who loves Barbies, mermaids, dolls, and flowers. She has just started school and doesn't have many friends yet, but she is enjoying going to school so far. She is from Mexico and is learning English, but she does have some kids in her neighborhood to play with.

Karen adores playing with dolls, but she only has one, and it's worn out and dirty. She longs for a new doll to play with. Since Karen enjoys assisting her mother in the kitchen, the Our Generation doll, Coco, which comes with a baking set and a storybook, would be ideal for her to pretend to cook with.
