Lamont is a gentle and kind-hearted young boy who has faced significant changes in his life, including time in foster care and a recent reunion with his family. Unfortunately, when his family lost their home, he had to transition to living with his father, which has been challenging for him. Shy by nature, Lamont takes time to feel comfortable around others, but once he does, his creativity shines through in his love for music and drawing. He often uses fidget items to help him stay calm during turbulent times.

Lamont is filled with enthusiasm for the enjoyable activities associated with Halloween. He has the opportunity to wear a costume for a school party, participate in trick-or-treating, and attend a special event at his church. This occasion allows him to don a costume and momentarily escape from daily concerns to enjoy some leisure. This year, he and his siblings have chosen to portray characters from classic horror television shows. They are eagerly looking forward to Lamont's role as Freddy Krueger from the iconic "A Nightmare on Elm Street."
