CASA New York CityJaleo started at a new school this year. He is in a new school with all new kids, and is getting adjusted to the new environment and new commute. His favorite color is blue, and he likes basketball. Jaleo is currently living in a kinship foster home with his grandmother.
Although Jaleo has had some tough recent events with his biological mother, he remains a happy 10-year-old. He is starting the school year, and he needs school supplies. Although he resides with his grandmother, she has struggled with the rent, and money is tight. Jaleo says he would "love a cool book bag for the school year."
