Kindred Spirit Behavioral HealthDaniel is a determined young father who has faced many challenges throughout his life but continues working hard to build a better future for himself and his children. Daniel and his brother experienced instability growing up, spending time in several foster homes before their father regained custody and placed them in the care of their elderly grandmother. Although she was able to provide for their basic needs, Daniel faced many obstacles during his childhood and struggled in school. Daniel remained with his grandmother until her recent passing, which left him without stable housing and forced him to live out of his car for a period of time. Despite these hardships, Daniel has continued to push forward and has recently been able to begin getting back on his feet. He is now working toward building a stable home and a brighter future. Daniel is focused on creating a safe and welcoming environment so he can strengthen his relationship with his children and work toward overnight visits with them. He is determined to prove that he is ready to take the next steps in providing a stable and loving home.
Daniel is so excited about his first apartment. He has moved into his place with clothes and a few household items. Daniel is asking for some help creating a home for him. He has been sleeping in his car for over two years and eating at friends' houses or community meals. He is looking forward to cooking his first meal in his place. Granting this wish will allow him to eat real dishes instead of paper plates and really help him feel settled in!
