Emily always has a smile on her face, and it's hard to be in a bad mood when you're around her! She loves to learn and takes every opportunity to use the world as her classroom.
Emily is struggling to understand and process some recent changes in her foster care situation. She has learned that she won't be able to reunify with her biological family and is trying to grasp what it will mean to be a part of another family that doesn't look like her. "Real Sisters Pretend" is a delightful story about two adopted sisters who are not biologically related and don't look alike. The book explores how they discover that there's more to being sisters than just biology. Emily loves books, especially those about foster care. Therefore, she is sure to enjoy reading "Real Sisters Pretend" and seeing an example of a different type of family.
