She has had to grow up quickly, taking on the role of caregiver for her sister. Now, they live with their cousin, with whom they have a strong bond. Nevayah feels a sense of relief and a weight lifted off her shoulders, knowing that she and her sister are safe.
Nevayah wants to be a firefighter for Halloween. She has picked out a fire captain costume, which includes a shirt, pants, suspenders, a hat, and an axe. She is ready to have a good time this holiday.
