A trip to Target for Lilly to purchase clothing for the winter season

Lilly, 20 years old

Wish submitted by:

Kutztown University of Pennsylvania

Lilly grew up in a tumultuous home where she took on the responsibility of caring for her six younger siblings, with her father absent from their lives. At the age of nine, she was placed into foster care due to homelessness and was raised by two foster parents until she was 17, when she was officially adopted. Now a Criminal Justice and Paralegal Studies major with a minor in Psychology, Lilly is passionate about her studies and determined to make a difference. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cleaning, and expressing her creativity through painting and drawing. Lilly’s resilience and dedication continue to shape her path forward.

Lilly has faced immense challenges throughout her life, from caring for her six siblings to overcoming homelessness before being placed into foster care. Now a hardworking college student, she is in need of warm clothing for the winter months but lacks the financial means to purchase these essentials. A Target gift card would provide her with the comfort and security of having proper winter clothing as she continues to focus on her dreams and goals. This wish was broken into two parts to allow for an epic shopping spree! This is wish 1 of 2.
