Rae is a mother in foster care who is doing her best to navigate parenthood as she continues to grow into a young woman. Rae loves her baby girl deeply and works hard every day to make good choices, learn as a parent, and provide a loving home. When Rae needs a break, she enjoys simple ways to relax and feel like a normal teenager—whether that is watching TikTok, catching up on her favorite TV shows, or enjoying a good nap. Navigating this stage of life comes with challenges, but Rae has a big heart and remains determined to give her daughter a happy future. A little encouragement goes a long way in reminding Rae how well she is doing.

Rae lives over two hours from home in her current placement, regularly making the four-hour round trip multiple days a week with her nine-month-old daughter. Also currently pregnant, she finds it challenging to find foods that settle her stomach. Wishing for a portable snack box would make it effortless to pack her and her baby’s favorite foods, ensuring they both stay nourished and comfortable during their long drives.
