Marchellos has been invited to the Homecoming dance at school, and he happily accepted. Having never attended a school dance or worn a suit before, he’s incredibly excited about the experience. This past summer brought some challenges for him, but since moving to his new home, he has truly turned a corner. He’s no longer getting into trouble at school and hasn’t been suspended this year, a significant change from last year when he faced weekly suspensions. Now that Marchellos has found his forever home, he’s looking forward to being adopted. Participating in the Homecoming dance will help him sharpen his social skills, such as communication, teamwork, and respect for others. It’s also a great opportunity for him to build friendships and forge positive connections.
