Marchellos is a very smart and funny young man who loves to play basketball and has a passion for math. He was placed in foster care without his two younger siblings, which has caused him some difficulties during his time in care. Marchellos struggled to understand why he could not be with his brothers. However, he has now finally settled down. Although he was behind in school, Marchellos has worked diligently to improve his grades over the past two semesters. He aspires to join the Air Force upon graduation and learn how to fly planes. Despite his placement in foster care, Marchellos is determined to achieve his goal of one day flying commercial aircraft.

Marchellos started his very own lawn care service for elderly residents in his neighborhood. Marchellos has gained 5 regular clients. Marchellos likes earning his own money to buy the things he wants. Recently, his edger broke and could not be repaired. He found a handheld lawn edger, but it doesn't do the job well. Marchellos reached out and asked for new lawn equipment to support the budding lawn care business he started. Giving Marchellos that extra hand will give him the opportunity to continue his small business and also let him know that he is not alone on his road to independence.
