Jakari has been in foster care for the majority of his life. He was abandoned by his parents and has struggled with that knowledge from the age of 5. Although he has been through many ups and downs while hopping from resource home to resource home, he is a bright young man who wants a solid future for himself. This now will include his new son. He and his girlfriend welcomed their baby 6 months ago, and although are doing a great job at parenting him at such a young age, they are struggling with affording the necessary items that will help their child with his development.

Jakari needs a new car seat for his baby because the one they have is no longer safe due to a buckle malfunction. This poses a problem as Jakari usually drops off his baby at his best friend's house for babysitting while he goes to class or work. Granting this wish would greatly help alleviate any stress Jakari may have about keeping his little one safe.
