James is a super sweet person who is working so hard to improve himself despite his struggles due to being in care. He can no longer return home to his family but is hopeful of finding an adoptive home that will match him well. James was previously transgender but has since begun to question his gender identity more. He is working to explore both his masculine and feminine side and find how they all fit together to make him. He is looking forward to starting basketball this school year and his new school and making new friends at the recreation center. He is facing all the upheaval and craziness that comes with foster care by viewing these changes as a fresh start for him to continue to progress in managing his behaviors and getting to know his true self.

Miracle doesn't know it yet, but she’s about to be surprised with a family trip in November to Disney's Magic Kingdom with her foster family! After making significant behavioral progress both at home and in the community, her foster mother feels confident that she can handle the adventure. Miracle will have an incredible time, especially if she gets the chance to buy a souvenir to remember her experience and try some of the unique foods that Disney offers.
