Jordan has spent the past 4 years in the foster care system, facing numerous challenges and uncertainties. Despite experiencing instability and constant change, he has shown remarkable resilience. From shifting between various temporary accommodations and schools to not knowing where his next meal would come from or if he'd have clean clothes, Jordan has faced adversity with courage. Thankfully, he has now found himself in a nurturing foster home that offers him the love and support he needs to thrive.

Every year, Jordan has watched the 8th-grade class eagerly prepare for their trip to Washington D.C. It's a trip that the entire school excitedly awaits. Now, as Jordan has entered 8th grade himself, his excitement has turned to worry as he feels that his current circumstances may prevent him from joining his peers. Jordan is so grateful for his current placement and doesn't want to burden them with the cost, especially since he knows that this is out of their budget. Knowing how much this trip means to him, Jordan's Guardian ad Litem came to One Simple Wish to share this special request for Jordan - the opportunity of a lifetime to explore the history-rich city of Washington D.C with his classmates. Jordan has never traveled outside of Florida and would be forever grateful for this opportunity. Jordan shared: I think I am a really great kid, and this trip would mean the world to me. I never thought I would be able to go on this trip, especially considering my past. But I became really hopeful when I was told I could receive some help with funding.
