Zahmir is a bright and energetic child in foster care with his baby brother. He loves riding his balance bike, making his brother laugh with his silly dances, and exploring his favorite topics—space, cars, and the weather. Zahmir is incredibly smart, proudly spelling his name out loud and identifying all the letters. With the help of ABA and play therapy, he’s working hard to overcome challenges related to autism and developmental delays, growing and learning more each day.

Zahmir is such a creative little guy who loves to build things, especially with couch cushions! A toddler couch would make a fantastic addition to his home. It would provide him with a special place to sit and enjoy storytime or watch his favorite educational shows. At the same time, it would give him the freedom to unleash his creativity and build to his heart's content. This playful setup not only encourages his imaginative play but also helps him learn about boundaries—understanding what is okay to play with and what should stay on the couch. Zahmir's caregivers have created an amazing environment for him to thrive, and they are committed to providing enriching experiences that foster his growth, both physically and mentally.
