Mariah entered foster care after a family member dropped her and her siblings off at a shelter and never returned. Seeking a solution, Mariah requested assistance in obtaining a larger fridge that could accommodate more than just six bottles of water. Spending most of her time in her room to manage her anxiety, she found comfort and focus in her studies, making a functional fridge essential for her well-being and academic success.
