Chromebook for Sheldon so he can complete his EMT course
Sheldon, 19 years old, MO
Wish submitted by:
MO DSS Children's Division - Shannon CountySheldon recently graduated from a foster home into an independent living arrangement. Sheldon is a hard worker, and when he is not working, you can find him tinkering with his old pickup that he saved to buy. He takes a lot of pride in his truck and has finally gotten it road ready. Sheldon is very mechanically inclined and plans to do great things when he finishes his schooling in the spring.
Sheldon is a highly motivated young man eager to attend EMT classes in January. His ultimate goal is to join the Fire Department, but first, he aims to gain experience as an EMT on an ambulance. To successfully complete his EMT assignments, which include coursework with virtual instructors, he urgently needs a laptop; currently, he only has an older cell phone to rely on. A reliable laptop will enable him to write and print his assignments effectively. Sheldon is fortunate to have an EMT instructor mentoring him at his church who has informed him that he will be offered a position once he successfully passes the course. Granting this wish will provide him with a significant boost toward achieving his goals and making a meaningful impact in his community.
