Asa and his younger brother, Apollo, have a passion for adventure and the great outdoors. They spend their days riding bikes and constructing forts out of branches, and when winter arrives, they shift to building impressive snow forts. As Asa has grown, he’s outgrown his old winter clothing and boots, and now he needs proper gear to keep up with his active lifestyle. One of the most heartwarming things about Asa is how he mentors Apollo, teaching him the value of gratitude for everything they receive. They truly are a delightful pair of kids, making the most of their time together.
Asa is 12 years old and lives in MI
Asa is a 5th grader who does well in school. He does struggle with ADHD but is learning appropriate coping skills. Asa lives with grandparents who also care for 3 of his 4 siblings. Asa attends church with the family, he enjoys reading books and loves to go fishing in the summer with his uncle. He played baseball over the summer and is looking forward to basketball. Asa has chores in the homes that he does to help out. Asa shares a room with his younger brother, and the two boys get along well. They would love a game system that they can play together and with their friends.
