Sebastian is part of the Ho Chunk Nation and currently lives with his three younger sisters in treatment foster care, having been in care since age 10. He has faced neglect and witnessed violence, yet he demonstrates resilience and strength. Caring and protective of his siblings, he finds joy in music and is interested in composing, playing the saxophone. Sebastian works hard during the summer, juggling several jobs to buy his own items and maintain independence without burdening his foster parents. He is reliable and takes pride in his responsibilities. Although he wishes to fit in with fashion trends, he remains grateful for his foster family and the support they provide. Despite financial hardships, his basic needs are met, and he feels happy in his living environment.

Sebastian will be turning 16 years old on Christmas, marking a significant milestone in his life. Currently residing in foster care with his three younger sisters, Sebastian has spent over five years in out-of-home care alongside his siblings. Being of Native American and Hispanic descent, his culture and heritage hold a special importance for him. As a high school student now in his second year of Spanish, Sebastian has an exciting opportunity ahead: he has the chance to travel to Spain with his class this coming summer. His foster parents are thrilled about this unique opportunity and have been diligently making monthly payments towards the trip for the past year, recognizing that it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience. However, for this journey, Sebastian would be incredibly grateful to receive his first set of luggage. Given the distance and travel logistics, a hard case luggage set would be ideal for him. This would not only make his travel experience smoother but also add to the excitement of his upcoming adventure.
